The only thing I HATE about watching the Preds play in Dallas....
is that idiot wearing the John Travolta suit constantly banging on the glass everytime the puck goes behind the goalie on the left hand side of the TV. If I had seats by him he’d be wearing alot of beer! TOTALLY ANNOYING!
My travel team shuffled me up to play center sometimes, for similar reasons. I loved the rushing/cycling/scoring part of playing forward, but I had a REALLY hard time NOT playing defense. It was almost crippling, haha. I was aaalways the first forward back (and often far, far too soon) because I was so used to playing D, I couldn’t stop myself. It’s hard to make that transition mentally, even if you know what you’re supposed to do/where you’re supposed to be physically.
This is a weird line of thinking, but this might be good
Yip, Tootoo, Hustlechuck ,Bourque, Spaling, Smithson. With them all in, we might have the right mindset to take out the stars tonight. They normally play us very physically. Maybe this is the night we win the physical battles.

On 102.5, just now, Trotz showed his disappointment........

He seemed pissed that the team didn’t seem to want to catch St. Louis and Detroit BADLY enough to bury a few more good chances, as well as a few too many icings, near the end of the game, Saturday.
He mentioned that if his team keeps playing lazy hockey minutes, then the Hockey Gods will surely notice and stick it to them.
Saturday, against Detroit was a wayyyyyyyyyyy important game, because instead of being 2-2 with the league’s top team, we settled for being 1-3.
We honestly need between 6-8 points, this week, and need to get at least a point from EACH opponent.
Yeah, that is awkward. I’m a lefty, and man I do NOT like having to play on the right if I can avoid it… I always catch myself cheating left. But then again, I don’t play in the NHL hahaha, so that’s probably why.
Mission accomplished! We’ve yet to see how much money he’ll be making, but I’m glad he’s staying. Some wanted to trade him, but Brodziak’s the exact kind of player that would thrive in the playoffs, which we still hope to make.
I think you guys have a chance! If you keep playing like you did today….. you could beat anyone. Backstrom looks like he’s back on track, and the forwards were actually forechecking and pressuring the Bruins D… solid, solid game.

Nope. He left his guy to help Klein, who got caught a stride behind whoever it was that assisted. Marty was also standing in the slot right next to Smith’s guy. Watching everyone. (If I’m remembering correctly – this is just from one replay.) So he could have picked up Smith’s guy as Smith tried to help Klein.
You know if you order a Columbus style hot dog they grill you up a nice bratwurst and then they drop it on the floor and hand you a diet hot dog bun with ketchup.
yeah, good for me for real. I went from being a homeless part-time jailbird to an honors student about to finish up a BA in Spanish and reapply for another year to finish a BS in Geology, getting scholarships for international travel, and having professors recruit me for research projects. yes, good for me :-)
I never played the second one (which most seem to hate). It’s kinda like the first, but more polished I guess. Feels kind of like Splinter Cell in some ways.

yeah, good for me for real. I went from being a homeless part-time jailbird to an honors student about to finish up a BA in Spanish and reapply for another year to finish a BS in Geology, getting scholarships for international travel, and having professors recruit me for research projects. yes, good for me :-)
