This title has made my Monday
Nothing like starting it off with a laugh. Hopefully nobody else gets it, but if they do, I hope they’re all better soon.
I really enjoyed the NHLPA Player Poll. I wasn’t expecting to see Big Ern on there.

There was one camera shot last night with Gill and Ott standing in front of the net, Ott standing there lookin UP at Gill..The look on Ott’s face was hilarious..
Having Gill lowered some ice time for Suter & Weber, I think that may really help going down the stretch.. give them a bit of rest now and then..

Shannaban's inconsistency on Peters
This is a prime example of why Shannahan is catching so much grief. Tootoo get’s 2 games for something happened while trying to make a hockey play, in live action, and then Peter’s gets one game for cross-checking a guy in the head, after the play was dead. An illegal play no matter where he struck him i might add. This is just crazy. please explain how Peters’ play was any different from Bouchard’s 2 game suspension. The only thing may be an injury,.
Bouchard’s suspension:

Yeah, that's unbelievable.
I hadn’t even seen the high-stick suspension… that seems kinda questionable. I appreciate what Shanahan & Co. are trying to do, but it’s frustrating when their decisions fluctuate so much. I feel like Peters deserved at LEAST 3 games for that hit, and PM-B deserved somewhere between 0 and 1, but certainly not 2. Whatever. Go figure, I guess.

ice time....
along with Halischuk’s going up, I also noticed Tootoo’s bust 15 mins and he was on the score sheet again….
I wonder if Trotz is going to put him in a more offensive role for a while and see if he can continue putting up some points…..

That thing with the clock is really strange.
How is it possible that there are three different clocks that show three different times? (0.02 for Columbus, 0.01 for New York, and 0.00 for Toronto.) You would think they’d have that stuff coordinated perfectly. Knowing this now, I feel like in a sense, Weber got lucky with his goal last night.
davisca - February 20, 2012
Columbus is operating in a different dimension. This affects the space-time continuum.
(Honestly, this has to get fixed. It’s the 21st century, We have clocks that work these days.)

No kidding, haha.
