We beat them 1st round of the playoffs last year. It got ugly towards the end… there was skate stomping and slashings and lost teeth, and all around general hatred.
Well it was a particularly un-Lightning like game in that they a: took the lead and kept it, and b: played really physical. Bugsy creamed Bobby Ryan. But they came really close to letting the jerks back in, so I know it really was the Lightning.
Its not actually the flu, that was a mistake. Players are actually working on Klein Fu, which is the technique that Klein developed over the summer so that he wouldn’t suck anymore.
Gill might be the piece that was missing in the playoffs vs the Canucks last year. A big man to clear out the front of the net and kill penalties. Vancouver relies heavily on that PP of theirs.
I wouldn’t HATE Hemsky… I dunno. There just aren’t a lot of realistic options right now. People keep saying Carter, but if we get him I’ll eat my shoe.
He kind of leaned in a little to make sure he was on camera. Either that or he’s jealous that Mark Howard talked to Suter instead of him. But he had his hat off, so I’m thinking it was the hair.
That the Sharks’ 69 points currently has them in third in the conference just because they’re in a weak division stinks. I hope they get rid of that with realignment.
I did not have the Panthers pegged as the top team. I thought they’d gone through too many roster changes. They fooled me. Or I fooled myself. In any case, fooling was accomplished.

Yeah
Gill might be the piece that was missing in the playoffs vs the Canucks last year. A big man to clear out the front of the net and kill penalties. Vancouver relies heavily on that PP of theirs.
