It started innocuously enough. I was reading Sam's article about making a trade for Jeff Carter and I thought to myself "Do we need to get Carter?" The 'get Carter' triggered the memory of that movie, and I thought that would be an easy photoshop job to do the movie poster. I then decided to go ahead and do one for each of the players that the good writers here wrote about.
So here is the collection of these hockey-centric, cinematic blockbusters for your amusement.

Yeah, that’s why I went ahead and posted it. I was iffy on whether we should or should not go get him, but I had this among other finished ones ‘in the can’ so I figured it was worth throwing out here. Too bad for Tuomo – bad timing for an injury.

Picking the movie out takes a little bit of time. Basing it on the name or team or something noteworthy about them (people seem to either love or hate Radulov, or at least love/hate talking about him) – that narrows it down. But the poster image also has to be workable in a quick time frame. That’s why it sometimes takes a while for some.
